Que parlamento queremos

As centrais sindicais e os trabalhadores brasileiros têm uma grande tarefa que precisam realizar nesta segundo semestre, além de suas lutas específicas e das campanhas salariais já em andamento, que precisam ser tocadas: participar ativamente das eleições gerais, a fim de eleger candidatos(as) realmente comprometidos com os interesses dos trabalhadores.

Não basta somente definir e fazer campanha para os candidatos ou candidatas à Presidência da República e aos governos dos estados.

Precisamos nos organizar e deflagrar uma ampla campanha nacional em prol dos candidatos ao Senado e à Câmara dos Deputados comprometidos com a agenda da classe trabalhadora.

Esta agenda aponta para a necessidade de se construir um "projeto nacional de desenvolvimento com soberania e valorização do trabalho".

Trata-se, na verdade, do documento elaborado pelas centrais sindicais e aprovados pelos trabalhadores na Conferência Nacional da Classe Trabalhadora.

Deputados e senadores ainda não votaram a PEC da redução da jornada, entre outros projetos, porque a maioria deles está comprometida com os interesses dos empresários.

São contrários a todas as ações que se tenta implementar para manter e ampliar os direitos trabalhistas e defender a soberania nacional.

Queremos um presidente (ou uma presidente) e parlamentares que votem a favor da semana de 40 horas e da Convenção 158 da OIT e que defendam nossos direitos conquistados depois de muita luta. Por fim, precisamos escolher muito bem nossos representantes na Câmara e no Senado.
