Durante o VII Congresso da CONTEE, realizado em São Paulo/SP, entre 28 e 30 de agosto de 2009, houve um momento de encontro dos técnicos e administrativos. Os diretores José Roberto Torres Machado (Sintae-RS), Manoel Henrique da Silva Filho (Sintee-PE), Olmir Luiz Paludo (Saaesl e Região) e João Batista da Silveira (Saae-MG) conduziram as discussões, com mais de 80 pessoas presentes.

Entre os pontos de pauta estavam a realização do próximo o Encontro Nacional dos Técnicos e Auxiliares Administrativos e a reivindicação de uma maior participação da categoria dentro da CONTEE, através da nova direção que conduzirá a entidade entre o período de 2009-2012.



Sobre o Encontro Nacional dos Técnicos e Auxiliares Administrativos foi ressaltado a importância de sua continuidade, pois os avanços e a troca de experiência entre dirigentes sindicais de todo o país mostram a necessidade de estar cada vez mais unidos para o enfrentamento com os patrões. O último encontro, que aconteceu em Belo Horizonte/MG, decidiu previamente que sua próxima edição seria de organização do SINTEE-PE, em Recife/PE.

Manoel Henrique ressaltou que havia assumido o compromisso e já começa a trabalhar para que o III Encontro possa acontecer, possivelmente nos dias 20 e 21 de novembro próximos. “Será importante para fortalecer nossa categoria, devemos ter unidade e compromisso para continuar nossa luta frente aos sindicatos patronais”, destacou.
