Os participantes da I Reunião Latino Americana de Organizações Sindicais da Educação Superior, realizada em Buenos Aires, em setembro - veja AQUI, tiveram a oportunidade de debater com o educador Pablo Gentili, do Conselho Latino Americano de Ciências Sociais (CLACSO). O professor tratou especificamente dos processos mercantis que ocorrem no interior das Universidades Públicas na América latina.

Pablo apresentou também a exitosa experiência de formação criada pela Federação Nacional de Docentes Universitários da Argentina (CONADU): o Instituto de Estudos e Capacitação e o Observatório Sindical de Políticas Universitárias.

As iniciativas surgiram do entendimento de que a estratégia de uma organização requer a formação sistemática de quadros próprios e a produção de conhecimentos necessários para desenvolver suas atividades. Entre os objetivos está o de gerar instâncias de formação integral para os membros da CONADU e suas associações de base, acessíveis aos integrantes de outras organizações populares, particularmente da Central dos Trabalhadores da Argentina (CTA).

Para isso, são constituídas equipes de trabalho, com contribuição de especialistas em diversas áreas, para produzir sistematicamente um conjunto de conhecimentos que contribua para a atividade de capacitação e como apoio à atividade geral da CONADU.
