A CONTEE participou, no último final de semana de outubro, do III Encontro dos Professores da Rede Privada realizado pelo Sindicato dos Professores de Pernambuco (Sinpro-PE), na Ilha de Itamaracá, no Litoral Norte do Estado.

Cerca de 250 profissionais prestigiaram o evento, cujo objetivo principal era reunir a categoria em torno de discussões fundamentais, como o papel do professor no ambiente de trabalho e a regulamentação do ensino privado.

Com o tema “As relações no ambiente de trabalho”, o Encontro serviu de debate para os seguintes assuntos: conjuntura política-educacional; aplicações de tecnologia na educação; saúde do professor; educação, comunicação e cultura numa perspectiva de inclusão social; regulamentação do ensino privado; e Ano Internacional da Astronomia: repetindo os feitos de Galileu.

A Confederação Nacional dos Trabalhadores em Estabelecimentos de Ensino (CONTTE) esteve presente através da participação de sua Secretária de Comunicação Social, Maria Clotilde Lemos Petta, e do diretor José Jackson Bezerra, e do Coordenador Regional Centro-Oeste, Edson de Paula Lima. Além disso, o Encontro contou com a presença de representantes das principais entidades sindicais e de educação, como CTB, CUT, Sindicato dos Professores do Recife (Simpere), Sindicato dos Trabalhadores em Educação de Pernambuco (Sintepe), do deputado federal Paulo Rubem Santiago e da deputada estadual Tereza Leitão.
