UNE diz que reforma deve aproximar ensino médio das universidades
A proposta de reforma curricular e pedagógica do ensino médio deverá promover uma aproximação dessa etapa do ensino com a educação superior e facilitar a entrada dos alunos nas universidades, na avaliação da União Nacional dos Estudantes (UNE). A presidente da entidade, Lúcia Stumpf, afirma que o projeto, apresentado nesta segunda (4/05) pelo Ministério da Educação, está de acordo com as diretrizes que a UNE defende para o sistema educacional brasileiro.
"As alterações são boas. São uma visão menos focada na profissionalização e mais na formação humanística do estudante. Estão de acordo com as mudanças curriculares defendidas pela UNE para as universidades brasileiras.”
Entre as mudanças, estão a possibilidade de que o estudante curse 20% de disciplinas optativas, a divisão dos conteúdos em eixos amplos, o aumento da carga horária, a inclusão de atividades práticas e programas de incentivo à leitura. As medidas, segundo Lúcia, deverão promover uma “vinculação maior entre o ensino médio e a universidade”.
Na avaliação da presidente da UNE, a ampliação dos conteúdos e mais estímulo à reflexão, propostas pelo novo modelo, poderão facilitar a vida dos estudantes durante os exames de acesso às universidades.
“Os estudantes estarão mais preparados não só para o vestibular, mas para os desafios da universidades, da vida universitária”, acrescentou.
A direção da UNE deverá se reunir ainda este mês para definir as sugestões à proposta de reforma do ensino médio que a entidade apresentará durante as audiências públicas que o Conselho Nacional de Educação (CNE) pretende realizar até julho.
