Brasil e União Européia reforçam pacto na área da educação
Brasil e União Européia firmaram acordo de intenções na área da educação nesta segunda-feira, 18. Declaração assinada pelo ministro da Educação, Fernando Haddad, e pelo comissário para Educação, Formação, Cultura e Juventude da Comissão Européia, Ján Figel, prevê o reforço da cooperação entre as partes.
A partir de agora, serão montadas comissões com representantes do Brasil e da União Européia para definir as áreas prioritárias de trabalho e a forma de cooperação. Entre as propostas estão a mobilidade (intercâmbio) de estudantes e de pesquisadores acadêmicos, a criação de vínculos entre instituições de ensino, o fortalecimento da educação profissional e a promoção do uso de língua estrangeira.
Brasil e União Européia pretendem, ainda, trocar experiências de práticas educacionais bem-sucedidas, rever o desenvolvimento de políticas públicas e compartilhar resultados em questões de interesse comum na área da educação.
