Seminário põe em debate os rumos para os próximos anos
Representantes de instituições de educação superior de todo o país estão reunidos para discutir as políticas para essa etapa do ensino nos próximos anos. O Fórum Nacional de Educação Superior ocorre até esta terça-feira, dia 26, no Conselho Nacional de Educação (CNE), em Brasília.
Os resultados das discussões servirão como subsídios para a participação brasileira na Conferência Mundial de Educação Superior, prevista para junho, em Paris, e também para orientar a realização de uma conferência nacional, em 2010. Os debates devem basear a elaboração do Plano Nacional de Educação, com metas a serem alcançadas entre 2011 e 2020.
Temas como a formação de professores, a democratização do acesso à educação e o compromisso social estão na agenda de debates e refletem o caráter sistêmico da educação, conforme explica o presidente da Câmara de Educação Superior do CNE, Paulo Barone. “A educação básica tem problemas que influenciam todos os aspectos da educação nos níveis seguintes”, disse. Por isso, entre os assuntos debatidos, está o papel da educação superior na formação de professores da educação básica.
