Haddad aponta redução na diferença salarial com outras carreiras
O ministro da Educação, Fernando Haddad, revelou que a diferença salarial entre professores com curso superior, completo ou incompleto, em relação à média salarial das demais profissões com igual formação caiu de 86% para 61% entre 2003 e 2007. Dados da Pesquisa Nacional por Amostra de Domicílios (Pnad) foram citados por Haddad na segunda-feira, dia 8, na capital paulista, em debate promovido pelo jornal O Estado de S. Paulo. O secretário estadual de educação, Paulo Renato Souza, participou das discussões, que tiveram a formação do professor como tema central.
Segundo Haddad, o salário do magistério sofre alterações positivas desde 2007, consideradas duas políticas — a de aumento das transferências de recursos da União a estados e municípios, com a criação do Fundo da Educação Básica (Fundeb), e a do piso nacional de salários, vigente desde janeiro deste ano. Para o ministro, o impacto do piso, que será integralizado em 2010, e a parcela maior de participação da União no Fundeb vão acelerar o ritmo de redução da diferença salarial de professores com as demais carreiras. Ele estima que em 2014 ou 2015 a diferença seja zerada. O Plano Nacional de Formação do Professor, lançado em 28 de maio, é outro instrumento de valorização do magistério.
Além da formação, que é importante, disse Haddad, a remuneração é um incentivo à carreira do professor. Esse conjunto de políticas — formação, piso nacional e Fundeb — constitui, de acordo com o ministro, a base que vai atrair talentos para o magistério.
