9º Congresso da UEE elege seu novo presidente
Durante a plenária final ainda foi escolhida qual será a atuação da UEE-SP nos próximos dois anos
Depois de dois de discussões sobre os rumos do movimento estudantil paulista e comemorar os 60 anos da UEE-SP, estudantes elegeram a nova diretoria executiva da entidade. Com 255 votos, Carlos Eduardo Siqueira Pinheiro foi eleito presidente.
Durante a plenária final ainda foi escolhida qual será a atuação da UEE-SP nos próximos dois anos. Carlos Eduardo tem 24 anos e é estudante de filosofia da Universidade São Judas.
Além disso, o novo presidente já tem uma trajetória dentro do movimento estudantil. Em seu discurso, Carlos ressaltou a importância da gestão eleita no aniversário de 60 anos da UEE-SP e seu papel em combater o neoliberalismo, além, é claro, lutar pelos direitos dos estudantes.
"Nós, nos próximos dois anos, ocuparemos as universidades para colocar os filhos da classe trabalhadora dentro delas. Ocuparemos cada sala de aula para construir uma UEE combativa, de luta e que vai derrotar José Serra", disse ele.
Com todo gás para dar continuidade ao trabalho da entidade, Carlos conversou com o sobre suas expectativas.
Como foi a indicação do seu nome para a presidência da UEE?
Carlos Eduardo: Foi uma discussão do próprio grupo, onde foram analisados os pontos positivos e negativos de algumas pessoas. Após essa série de discussões, o meu nome foi eleito por unanimidade dentro da chapa.
Quais são as diretrizes da nova executiva da UEE-SP?
Continuaremos lutando pela aprovação do projeto de Reforma Universitária junto com a UNE, lutaremos por todas as resoluções aprovadas no CONEB e conscientizaremos os estudantes de todo o estado da importância da organização e participação dentro do movimento estudantil com a criação de C.A´s e D.A´s. Além disso, temos um grande projeto, semelhante ao da UNE, de levar uma Caravana da cidadania a todo o estado de São Paulo, neste projeto serão abordados diversos temas como cultura, saúde, esporte, entre outros.
