Estudantes não precisam se preocupar com novo Enem, diz Haddad
O ministro da Educação, Fernando Haddad, afirmou hoje (15) que os estudantes que se prepararam para o antigo vestibular não precisam temer o novo Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio (Enem). As inscrições para a prova, que servirá como forma de ingresso para várias universidades federais, começaram hoje (15).
“Quem está preparado para o vestibular está preparado para o novo Enem. E quem estava pronto para o velho Enem também está pronto para o novo Enem”, disse em pronunciamento em rede nacional de rádio e televisão.
Somente no primeiro dia, mais de 100 mil estudantes já se inscreveram para participar do novo Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio (Enem). Os interessados devem se inscrever exclusivamente pela internet até as 23h59 do dia 17 de julho. Segundo o Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio Teixeira (Inep), responsável pela prova, a expectativa é chegar a 7 milhões de inscritos.
Em seu pronunciamento, Haddad informou que 42 das 55 universidades federais vão utilizar o exame para selecionar seus alunos, seja em 2009 ou nos próximos processos seletivos. O ministro destacou que cada estudante, a partir da nota obtida, poderá pleitear uma vaga em qualquer universidade ou instituto federal que tiver aderido ao novo modelo.
“Pelo processo tradicional, o estudante era obrigado a se inscrever em diversos vestibulares, cada um com um modelo específico, arcar com várias taxas de inscrição e deslocar-se pelo país, o que era estressante e pouco democrático”, defendeu.
O Enem 2009 será aplicado em 1.619 municípios nos dias 3 e 4 de outubro. A prova terá 180 questões de múltipla escolha e uma redação.
