MEC: aulas suspensas em função da gripe suína terão que ser repostas
As escolas públicas e particulares de diversas regiões que antecipem suas férias ou suspendam as aulas em função da contaminação de alunos pelo vírus Influenza (H1N1), da gripe suína, deverão repor os dias perdidos. A determinação é do Ministério da Educação que exige que sejam cumpridos os 200 dias letivos por ano, de acordo com o que é estabelecido pela Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação Nacional (LDB).
Nos últimos dias, escolas particulares do Rio de Janeiro, de São Paulo e Minas Gerais suspenderam suas atividades após a confirmação de que um ou mais alunos tinham contraído a doença.
O ministério informou ainda que é responsabilidade das secretarias estaduais e municipais de Educação determinar ou não a interrupção das aulas.
Ontem (23), o Ministério da Saúde anunciou 94 novos casos de gripe suína, totalizando 334 em todo país. São Paulo é o estado com a maior concentração de casos (50). Na sequência, vêm Minas Gerais (17), Rio de Janeiro (13), Santa Catarina (quatro), Bahia (dois), Espírito Santo (dois), Paraná (dois), Alagoas (um), Goiás (um), Rio Grande do Sul (um) e Sergipe (um).
