TV Estadão: Presidente da UNE fala sobre o que será prioridade na sua gestão
Augusto Chagas comenta o papel da entidade nas eleições de 2010, a luta para que os recursos do Pré-sal sejam destinados para a Educação e as mobilizações pela aprovação do PL de Reforma Universitária da UNE
O recém eleito presidente da UNE, Augusto Chagas foi o entrevistado da TV Estadão, canal do jornal O Estado de São Paulo na última sexta-feira (24) para falar sobre quais serão as principais ações da entidade nos próximos dois anos.
Durante a entrevista de vinte minutos de duração, Augusto reafirma que a luta para ver aprovado o Projeto de Lei de Reforma Universitária, elaborado por estudantes.
Outro ponto debatido na entrevista com os jornalistas Pedro Venceslau e Renata Cafardo, o presidente da UNE ressaltou o papel da entidade nas eleições de 2010. "A UNE não tem tradição de defender candidaturas, não tem compromisso com partidos políticos. A UNE sempre participou dos grandes debates e isso, pretendemos fazer. Vamos participar do debate da eleição presidencial, das discussões sobre o futuro do Brasil. Faremos isso apresentando nossa plataforma nas universidades em caravana, debatendo nossas idéias e submetê-las a um plebiscito nacional. O próximo passo será apresentar nossas demandas aos candidatos que vão se comprometer com a pauta dos estudantes. É dessa maneira que nós pretendemos nos envolver nas próximas eleições".
