UNE gestão 2009/2011: avanço nas mudanças
O evento que oficializa a chegada da diretoria da UNE para o biênio 2009-2011 foi marcado pela pluralidade.
Parecia uma quarta-feira comum na Câmara dos Deputados, mas um clima de agitação e ansiedade era sentido nos corredores que ligam os anexos. Estudantes de diferentes regiões do país e, especialmente a juventude do Distrito Federal, se mobilizaram para assistir a posse oficial de Augusto Chagas, novo presidente da União Nacional dos Estudantes eleito no último Congresso da entidade.
Parlamentares de grande parte das legendas existentes hoje no Congresso Nacional também prestigiaram o ato de posse. Além deles, marcaram presença no Auditório Freitas Nobre dirigentes de diversos partidos políticos e de movimentos sociais, assim como nomes que representavam os ministérios da Educação, Saúde e Esportes. O evento que oficializa a chegada da diretoria da UNE para o biênio 2009-2011 foi marcado pela pluralidade.
E não é para menos. “A UNE tem um DNA de lutas. A entidade sempre chama para si a responsabilidade de batalhar pelas transformações que o país precisa”, bradou Augusto Chagas.
Ao se manifestarem, muitos dos senadores, deputados e dirigentes aproveitaram a oportunidade para revisitar fatos marcantes da trajetória da UNE ao longo de seus 72 anos de fundação. Declarações que lembraram a história de lutas, de conquistas e evidenciaram sua importância e influência na sociedade. Veículos da imprensa também registraram o evento, tais como: Agência Câmara, Senado, Rede Amazônica, Portal G1 e Folha de S. Paulo.
