Rendimento médio mensal aumentou 2% em um ano
O rendimento médio mensal dos brasileiros, considerando todas as fontes, apresentou um aumento de 2% de 2007 para 2008, atingindo R$ 1.023. O incremento foi o menor observado nas últimas quatro comparações anuais. Em 2008, quem mais sentiu a elevação foram as classes intermediárias de rendimentos.
Os dados fazem parte da Pesquisa Nacional por Amostra de Domicílios (Pnad) referente ao ano de 2008, divulgada nesta sexta (18) pelo Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE). O estudo, publicado anualmente, traz uma radiografia da situação econômica do país, com informações sobre população, migração, educação, trabalho, família, domicílios e rendimentos.
A pesquisa mostra que, em 2008, enquanto os 10% de pessoas com rendimentos mais baixos não tiveram aumento real no rendimento médio, considerando todas as fontes, para os 10% com rendimentos mais altos a elevação foi de 1,1%.
De acordo com o índice de Gini (que mede o grau de distribuição da renda), houve redução na concentração dos rendimentos de todas as fontes no conjunto do país (de 0,535 em 2007 para 0,531 em 2008).
A análise regional indica que apenas a Centro-Oeste apresentou elevação do indicador (de 0,564 para 0,567). Essa também é a região com o maior grau de concentração de rendimentos de todas as fontes. A Norte registrou a maior queda (de 0,508 para 0,498).
Na avaliação sobre a renda média mensal dos domicílios com rendimentos, houve manutenção da tendência de aumento, com ganho de 2,8% de um ano para o outro, subindo para R$ 1.968. Em 2007, o valor era R$ 1.915. A elevação ocorreu principalmente nas classes com rendimentos mais baixos, contribuindo para a redução na concentração do rendimento domiciliar para o país. O índice de Gini para este indicador passou de 0,521, em 2007, para 0,515, em 2009. O mesmo movimento foi observado em todas as regiões, tendo sido mais intenso na Norte (de 0,498 para 0,478) e na Sul (de 0,484 para 0,477).
