No Blog do Planalto: UNE defende 50% dos recursos do Pré-sal para a Educação
Para o presidente da UNE, o Conselho de Desenvolvimento Econômico e Social (CDES) é um espaço importante para se promover o debate sobre o Pré-Sal. "Estamos diante de uma oportunidade de debater o futuro do Brasil!", disse Augusto Chagas, que defende que 50% dos recursos provenientes do fundo social do Pré-sal sejam investidos em Educação. "Essa riqueza deve servir ao país. E não há política pública mais efetiva do que a Educação", concluiu.

Sociedade civil aprova mudanças na regulação do setor do petróleo
Durante a reunião extraordinária do Conselho de Desenvolvimento Econômico e Social (CDES) hoje no Palácio do Itamaraty, em Brasília, o clima entre os conselheiros com relação às propostas do governo federal para o Pré-sal era de aprovação, apesar de muitos terem demandas específicas para os setores que representam. Os interessados tiveram a chance de se inscrever para expor seus pontos por três minutos. O Blog do Planalto traz aqui a posição de representantes de três importantes setores da sociedade civil -- indústria, trabalhadores e estudantes -- acerca dos investimentos que serão feitos com os recursos obtidos com a exploração do Pré-sal.
Augusto Chagas contou que os integrantes do movimento estudantil vem estudando muito o tema. Ele fez uma avaliação da reunião e falou das demandas para a área da Educação.
