O presidente da Confederação Nacional dos Trabalhadores em Educação (CNTE), Roberto Franklin de Leão, o Coordenador Geral do Sindicato dos Trabalhadores em Educação do Estado da Bahia (APLB/BA), Rui Oliveira, e o Secretário Geral da CNTE, Denilson Bento da Costa estiveram ontem (20) com o consultor jurídico Rafael Favetti, para pedir o apoio da Polícia Federal nas investigações do assassinato de Elisney Pereira dos Santos e Álvaro Henrique Santos. Os dois professores, sindicalistas, foram mortos a tiros em Porto Seguro, no dia 17 de setembro.

O irmão de Álvaro, Eric Oliveira, compareceu à audiência e relatou o caso ao superintendente da Polícia Federal da Bahia e ao delegado-chefe da Polícia Federal de Porto Seguro, Fernando Peres. Os oficiais declararam que já estão auxiliando a Polícia Civil. Segundo Fernando Peres, as investigações estão bem encaminhadas. Ele acredita que o caso será solucionado em breve.
Também estiveram presentes no Ministério da Justiça o presidente da APLB em Porto Seguro, Jurandir Nascimento, e uma caravana de 27 pessoas, vinda da mesma cidade.
