A Sociedade Brasileira para o Progresso da Ciência (SBPC) lançou nesta sexta (13) o movimento SBPC: Pacto pela Educação. A ideia é, junto com outras entidades como União Nacional dos Estudantes (UNE) e a Confederação Nacional dos Trabalhadores em Educação (CNTE), apresentar no primeiro semestre do ano que vem propostas para a melhoria do ensino básico no país.

“Devemos fazer uma revolução pelo ensino básico, que vai mal. Temos uma pedagogia ultrapassada, professores malpagos, violência nas escolas. Queremos propor ações para resolver problemas emergenciais e também em médio e longo prazos”, disse o coordenador do Grupo de Trabalho de Educação da SBPC, Isaac Roitman. “Queremos fazer com que segmentos da sociedade sejam fiscais da qualidade da educação. É o TCU da educação”, completou.

Para o diretor-geral da SBPC, Marco Antônio Raupp, é preciso estimular a discussão sobre as políticas públicas em educação e cobrar das autoridades as medidas. “Vamos fazer gestões com os novos governantes, nos próximos 20 anos, para que deem à educação o status de política de Estado”, disse.
