Ao chegar na manhã desta quarta (18) ao Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil (CCBB), o presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva conversou com médicos brasileiros formados em Cuba que reivindicam o reconhecimento do diploma pelo governo brasileiro.

Eles aguardavam Lula na entrada do CCBB, sede provisória da Presidência da República, vestidos com jaleco e segurando uma bandeira de Cuba. O presidente desceu do carro, ouviu os pedidos e disse que dará atenção ao assunto. Lula também abraçou integrantes do grupo e tirou fotos com eles, que formaram uma comissão a ser recebida pelo chefe de gabinete do presidente, Gilberto Carvalho.

Médica formada em Cuba, Ana Marta veio da Bahia na tentativa de falar com o presidente. Segundo ela, uma portaria do Ministério da Educação estabelece um projeto piloto para que os brasileiros formados em medicina naquele país façam um prova a fim de ter o diploma reconhecido no Brasil. Os médicos, no entanto, criticam alguns pontos da norma e pedem agilidade no processo.

“Queremos uma prova coerente, que tenha uma grade curricular compatível com a nossa, que se possa fazer a prova duas vezes ao ano e não uma, que todas as universidades públicas façam a adesão ao projeto piloto e que, caso não se consiga na prova a pontuação estabelecida, essa pessoa possa fazer complementação em alguma universidade pública”, afirmou Ana Marta.
