Trabalhadores que não possuem formação poderão ter seus conhecimentos reconhecidos por escolas ligadas à Rede Federal de Educação Profissional, Científica e Tecnológica. É o que prevê a Rede Nacional de Certificação Profissional e Formação Inicial e Continuada (Rede Certific), cuja portaria dos ministérios da Educação e do Trabalho foi publicada hoje (24) no Diário Oficial da União.

“É uma chance do trabalhador que não teve a educação formal ter seus conhecimentos técnicos reconhecidos e certificados. O trabalhador que queira voltar para a escola e completar a sua formação ter uma parte do seu conhecimento reconhecido e poderá prosperar com mais facilidade”, explicou o ministro da Educação Fernando Haddad. O Ministério da Educação calcula que a Rede Certific deverá chegar a 30 milhões de trabalhadores.

Os interessados devem procurar uma das 200 escolas técnicas ligadas à rede federal.  Lá passarão por testes que serão aplicados por especialistas da área. O processo de certificação se dará em várias etapas que incluem entrevistas e testes práticos.

Segundo o MEC, o programa funcionará primeiro nas áreas de pesca, construção civil, turismo e gastronomia. Cada instituto estabelecerá seu calendário. O processo é gratuito e inclui algumas capacitações. Por exemplo: se o trabalhador domina o ofício de pedreiro, mas não sabe ler, será encaminhado para um curso de educação básica para que possa receber a certificação.
