38º Congresso da UBES em Minas Gerais
Secundarista, prepare sua mochila: na próxima semana, dia 10, tem início o 38º Congresso da UBES, em Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. Saiba mais sobre o evento, que reunirá estudantes de todo o Brasil.
Belo Horizonte, mais especificamente a Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, campus Pampulha, será palco do 38º Congresso da União Brasileira dos Estudantes Secundaristas, que reunirá estudantes de todo o Brasil de 10 a 13 de dezembro de 2009. Os secundaristas devem se dirigir ao Coltec, Colégio Técnico da UFMG, para o credenciamento. Os debates acontecerão nos auditórios da Universidade.
Mais de 2300 delegados representando escolas de 26 estados brasileiros (mais o Distrito Federal) vão escolher o novo presidente e a diretoria da UBES. Eles foram eleitos nas etapas estaduais, realizadas durante os meses de outubro e novembro que mobilizaram 5,6 milhões de estudantes em mais de 25 mil escolas em todas as regiões do país.
“Esse processo fortalece a rede do movimento estudantil secundarista e coloca a UBES em outro patamar político. No Congresso serão apresentadas novas perspectivas para o movimento, que a cada dia quer transformar a educação, por um país desenvolvido e soberado”, afirma Osvaldo Lemos, diretor da UBES e coordenador da Comissão Nacional de Credenciamento e Organização do Congresso da UBES (CNCO).
A plenária final acontecerá no Ginásio Mineirinho, que tem o nome oficial de Ginásio Jornalista Felipe Drummond. O Mineirinho é totalmente coberto e tem uma área de 2.800 metros quadrados.
“O 38º Congresso da União Brasileira dos Estudantes Secundaristas já é o mais representativo e promete ser o maior da história da entidade sexagenária”, diz Ismael Cardoso, atual presidente da UBES.
