Presidente do Inep pede demissão após problemas com o Enem
O presidente do Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais (Inep), Reynaldo Fernandes, entregou ontem (17) sua carta de demissão ao ministro da Educação, Fernando Haddad. Em comunicado aos funcionários do órgão, Fernandes diz que sai “com o único objetivo de preservar o Inep”.
O pedido de demissão ocorre após um ano tumultuando no instituto, que enfrentou vários problemas na aplicação do Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio (Enem). As provas que estavam marcadas para outubro tiveram que ser adiadas depois que alguns exemplares do Enem foram furtados dentro da própria gráfica que imprimia o material.
Com isso, toda a logística da prova teve que ser refeita e o Enem só foi realizado em dezembro. Universidades tiveram que remarcar a data do vestibular para não coincidir com os dias de aplicação do Enem. Algumas desistiram de usar a nota do exame nos processos seletivos. A abstenção no Enem foi recorde, chegando a 40%.
Na carta que enviou aos funcionários, Reynaldo Fernandes diz que não sai feliz, mas “tranquilo”, com a certeza de que se dedicou “ao máximo ao Inep e à educação do país”. Ele acrescenta que “um novo presidente poderia dirimir com menos dificuldade as desconfianças que recaem sobre o instituto neste momento delicado”.
Haddad não está em Brasília e só deve anunciar quem ocupará o cargo na segunda-feira (21) A exoneração ainda precisa ser publicada no Diário Oficial da União. Fernandes é professor da Universidade de São Paulo (USP) e informou que deve retomar suas atividades naquela instituição.
