Pesquisa divulgada nesta terça (12) pelo Ministério da Educação (MEC) aponta que as atividades esportivas e de reforço escolar são as mais desenvolvidas por escolas que trabalham com a jornada ampliada. Entre os 2 mil municípios que participaram do estudo, 23% desenvolvem experiências no turno contrário ao das aulas.

Entre as atividades identificadas pela pesquisa, 65% privilegiam o esporte. As aulas de reforço são implementadas por 61,7%, seguido por aulas de música (57,1%), dança (54%), teatro (46,4%) e informática (45,6%).

O presidente da União Nacional dos Dirigentes Municipais de Educação (Undime), Carlos Eduardo Sanches, ressalta que os alunos precisam participar de atividades que enriqueçam e melhorem a aprendizagem.

“Escola em tempo integral não é só para tirar a criança da rua. A escola não pode oferecer um turno de educação e outro de arranjos não adequados. Precisamos construir projetos pedagógicos de cada escola de forma a unir todas as ações”, aponta.

Ele acredita que a comunidade precisa estar envolvida no processo. Entre as experiências analisadas pelo estudo, 76% estavam inseridas no projeto político-pedagógico da escola.

Segundo a pesquisa, 1,1 milhão de estudantes são atendidos por experiências de educação em tempo integral. Os locais onde essas atividades são desenvolvidas são variados: 77,6% das experiência são desenvolvidas em sala de aula, 60,4% no pátio, 51,4% na quadra de esportes e 45,9% na biblioteca.
