Vanhoni é eleito presidente da Comissão de Educação e Cultura
O deputado Angelo Vanhoni (PT-PR) foi eleito presidente da Comissão de Educação e Cultura, em substituição à deputada Maria do Rosário (PT-RS) . O deputado Paulo Rubem Santiago (PDT-PE) foi eleito 1º vice-presidente, e o deputado Antônio Carlos Chamariz (PTB-AL) foi eleito 2º vice. O 3º vice ainda não foi escolhido.
O novo presidente disse que vai dar prosseguimento ao trabalho da sua antecessora. Segundo ele, Maria do Rosário trouxe equilíbrio à comissão.
Vanhoni, 54 anos, bancário, é formado em Letras. Está no primeiro mandato como deputado federal, mas já foi vereador e deputado estadual no Paraná.
O parlamentar é membro titular da Comissão de Educação e Cultura desde 2007. Também participou da comissão especial da PEC 416/05, que cria o Sistema Nacional de Cultura, e da CPI das Tarifas de Energia.
Entre suas iniciativas parlamentares, apresentou o Projeto de Lei 2764/08, que permite a dedução do Imposto de Renda do valor de obras de artes doadas a museus. É relator do PL 5660/09 que inclui no Programa Nacional de Apoio à Cultura (Pronac) os projetos de atualização e aprimoramento profissional para áreas técnicas do audiovisual.
