Depositados R$ 330,8 milhões para alimentação e transporte
Estados e municípios brasileiros acabam de receber a terceira parcela do Programa Nacional de Alimentação Escolar (Pnae). O Fundo Nacional de Desenvolvimento da Educação (FNDE) transferiu R$ 316,6 milhões para as secretarias estaduais e municipais de educação na última sexta-feira, 30 de abril.
Esse dinheiro está disponível nas contas bancárias dos governos estaduais e das prefeituras a partir desta terça-feira, 4, e deve ser usado exclusivamente para a aquisição de gêneros alimentícios para a merenda escolar dos 47 milhões de estudantes da rede pública brasileira de educação básica.
Também foram depositados nas contas dos estados e municípios R$ 14,2 milhões referentes ao Programa Nacional de Apoio ao Transporte Escolar (Pnate), para serem utilizados na manutenção dos ônibus, compra de combustível ou terceirização do serviço de transporte dos alunos que vivem no campo.
Orçamentos – O orçamento do Pnae para 2010 é de R$ 3 bilhões. Desse total, 30% (R$ 900 milhões) devem ser investidos na compra direta de produtos da agricultura familiar, medida que estimula o desenvolvimento econômico das comunidades.
Já o orçamento do programa de apoio ao transporte escolar, neste ano, é de R$ 655 milhões, a serem repassados em nove parcelas, de abril a novembro. Os recursos devem atender 4.990.112 alunos matriculados em escolas públicas do ensino infantil (277.404 alunos), do ensino fundamental (3.741.699 alunos) e do ensino médio (971.009 alunos) que vivem na zona rural.
