A partir das 10h de hoje (15), os interessados em participar do Programa Universidade para Todos (ProUni) já podem se inscrever no site do Ministério da Educação. Nessa edição serão oferecidas 60.488 bolsas em 1.225 instituições privadas de ensino superior.

Do total de benefício disponíveis para o segundo semestre de 2010, 39.113 são integrais e 21.375 parciais, que custeiam 50% da mensalidade. As bolsas integrais são destinadas aos alunos com renda familiar mensal per capita de até um salário mínimo e meio (R$ 765). Já as parciais são para os candidatos cuja renda familiar mensal per capita não seja superior a três salários mínimos (R$ 1.530).

Para participar, é preciso ter cursado todo o ensino médio em escola pública ou em colégio particular como bolsista. Também é necessário ter feito o Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio (Enem) em 2009 e alcançado no mínimo 400 pontos na média das cinco provas.

Também podem se inscrever professores da rede pública de ensino básico interessados em cursos de  licenciatura, normal superior ou pedagogia, desde que estejam em exercício. Nesse caso, não é necessário cumprir o critério de renda.

As inscrições terminam no dia 19 e a previsão é de que a lista dos pré-selecionados em primeira chamada seja divulgada dia 21 de junho. Esses estudantes deverão comparecer às instituições para onde foram selecionados no período de 22 de junho a 2 de julho para entregar documentos que comprovem as informações prestadas durante as inscrições. Em seguida, estão programadas seis chamadas subsequentes caso ainda haja bolsas a serem distribuídas.
