A primeira chamada do Sistema de Seleção Unificada (Sisu) registra a aprovação de 16.549 candidatos, que devem fazer a matrícula nos dias 23 e 24 próximos, nas instituições de educação superior nas quais foram aprovados. A relação dos documentos necessários para a matrícula pode ser consultada no boletim individual ou nas instituições de ensino.

Encerradas as matrículas da primeira chamada, serão feitas outras duas, caso haja vagas disponíveis. Os candidatos selecionados pela primeira opção de curso da primeira chamada serão excluídos do sistema. Portanto, não serão convocados nas seguintes. Os selecionados pela segunda opção continuarão no sistema e podem ser convocados para ocupar vaga no primeiro curso escolhido.

Entre 10 e 14 de junho, o Sisu registrou 231.931 candidatos inscritos. Participam do processo de seleção para as vagas do segundo semestre 15 universidades federais, duas estaduais, 17 institutos federais de educação, ciência e tecnologia e um centro federal de educação tecnológica (Cefet).

O Sisu é o sistema informatizado do Ministério da Educação para seleção de estudantes por instituições públicas de educação superior. Essa seleção tem como base a nota obtida pelo candidato no Exame Nacional de Ensino Médio (Enem) de 2009.
