Haddad diz que astronomia, astronáutica e mudanças climáticas devem ser mais discutidas nas escolas
O ministro da Educação, Fernando Haddad, disse nesta quinta (8) que assuntos como Astronomia, Astronáutica e Mudanças Climáticas devem estar cada vez mais inseridos nas atividades curriculares da rede pública de ensino.
“Estamos tendo a chance de fazer agora o que deveríamos ter feito a tempos atrás. Estamos recuperando nossa capacidade de desenvolvimento educacional”, disse durante a cerimônia de lançamento dos três volumes dos livros que compõem a Coleção Explorando o Ensino. As publicações se referem à astronomia, astronáutica e a mudanças climáticas e farão parte do currículo escolar da rede pública.
Fazem parte da coleção os volumes 11 e 12, intitulados Fronteira Espacial – Astronomia e Astronáutica e 13, intitulado Mudanças Climáticas. Mais de 73 mil exemplares de cada volume foram distribuídos em escolas públicas de todo Brasil.
Segundo um dos escritores dos livros e jornalista cientifico, Salvador Nogueira, a elaboração dos livros representa uma conquista e contribuição significativa para a educação pública.
“É uma pena que a astronomia não esteja tão presente nas escolas. Essas publicações são uma maneira de trazer para as escolas parte da ciência que antes não era vista”, disse.
O lançamento é iniciativa da Agência Espacial Brasileira em parceria com o Ministério da Educação.
