Candidato ao financiamento estudantil terá de fazer o Enem
Estudantes que ingressarem na faculdade em 2011 e pretendam custear a formação com recursos do Financiamento ao Estudante do Ensino Superior (Fies) devem fazer o Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio (Enem). A nova regra está estabelecida no artigo 19 da Portaria Normativa nº 10, de 30 de abril deste ano.
No entanto, de acordo com a diretora de políticas e programas de graduação da Secretaria de Educação Superior (Sesu) do Ministério da Educação, Paula Branco Mello, a exigência do Enem para a concessão do financiamento estudantil aplica-se apenas aos estudantes que ingressarem no ensino superior a partir de 2011, em instituições particulares. A condicionalidade do exame não atinge quem já esteja na universidade ou que nela ingressar até o fim deste ano.
A portaria estabelece uma série de mudanças no financiamento. Entre elas, a redução da taxa anual de juros de 6,5% para 3,4%, o período de carência, que passou de seis para 18 meses após a formatura, e o fim do prazo de solicitação. Hoje, o universitário pode pedir o financiamento a qualquer tempo, conforme a Portaria nº 10/2010.
As inscrições no Enem devem ser feitas até sexta-feira, 16, na página eletrônica do Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais (Inep).
