Lula critica estados e municípios que demoraram a aderir ao ProJovem
A demora de alguns estados e municípios para aderir ao ProJovem - programa do governo que oferece formação no ensino fundamental, cursos profissionalizantes e uma bolsa de R$ 100 por mês, visando à reintegração de jovens aos estudos – foi criticada hoje (12) pelo presidente da República, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, durante a assinatura do decreto de convocação da 2ª Conferência Nacional de Juventude.
“No começo do ProJovem, tivemos problemas com vários prefeitos que, por motivos políticos e ideológicos, não entraram no programa. São Paulo e Rio de Janeiro foram alguns deles. Mas depois da crítica, acabaram correndo atrás”, disse. “Mas a meu ver, não foi apenas por questões ideológicas. Foi burrice mesmo”, completou.
O presidente da República também aproveitou a cerimônia para destacar a presença das mulheres no ProJovem e informou que 60% das beneficiadas pelo programa eram mães solteiras. “Ouvi delas agradecimentos dizendo que o programa foi a tábua de salvação para corrigir os erros cometidos”, disse.
O aumento do número de mulheres com título de doutoras foi outro ponto ressaltado pelo presidente Lula. Segundo ele, “em 2008, aconteceu uma inversão e 51% das teses concluídas foram de mulheres”.
“Em 1996, havia apenas 2.830 doutores no país. Em 2008, chegamos a 10.750, e deverá chegar a 13 mil em 2010”.O presidente ressaltou, ainda, que a Região Nordeste também tem sido beneficiada pelo maior número de doutores. “Agora, queremos que esses doutores agora apresentem suas teses para as empresas, para inovar e transformá-las em produto, em vez de deixá-las na gaveta”.
