Projeto prevê mudança no reajuste de piso

Uma nova polêmica relativa à lei do piso salarial do professor se instalou no Congresso. Deputados governistas tentam colocar em votação, na semana que vem, projeto de lei do Executivo que prevê um reajuste todo mês de janeiro. O líder do PSDB, José Aníbal (SP), afirma que o partido tentará adiar a discussão para analisar o impacto financeiro nos Estados.

Pela proposta, o índice de reajuste seria o INPC (Índice Nacional de Preços ao Consumidor) do ano anterior. De janeiro a setembro de 2008, ele acumulou 5,2%.

A lei, aprovada em julho, prevê que o vencimento básico do professor seja de R$ 950, atualizado anualmente pelo valor mínimo do Fundeb (fundo de desenvolvimento da educação básica) relativo aos anos iniciais do ensino fundamental urbano.

Esse índice pode representar um impacto maior que o INPC -Estados calculam que seria necessário haver um reajuste de 11% já no ano que vem.
