CNTE intensificará luta em defesa do piso nacional
A Confederação Nacional dos Trabalhadores em Educação (CNTE) atuará, por todos os meios legais, contra a Ação Direta de Inconstitucionalidade (ADIN) ingressada pelos governadores do Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, Paraná, Mato Grosso do Sul e Ceará, no Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), questionando a Lei 11.738/08, que instituiu o Piso Salarial Profissional Nacional do Magistério Público da Educação Básica.
A decisão dos governadores revela enorme contradição com suas bancadas no Parlamento, que aprovaram o piso por unanimidade, tanto na Câmara quanto no Senado. Trata-se de uma iniciativa oportunista, uma vez que os governadores aguardaram o fim do período eleitoral para apresentar a ADIN.
A mobilização pela implementação do piso será intensificada em todos os estados e municípios para denunciar as autoridades contrárias ao piso salarial, consideradas “Inimigos da Educação”. Será divulgada também à sociedade a importância do conceito do piso para o magistério, que não pode confundir-se com teto salarial tampouco se desvincular da carreira.
O resgate da escola pública depende da valorização dos profissionais. Por isso, a CNTE convoca a todos a lutarem em defesa do direito à educação pública de qualidade e da valorização da carreira.
Em breve, será divulgado um novo calendário nacional de lutas pelo piso.
