CNTE: Educadores prometem parar se Piso não for implantado
Trabalhadores em Educação vão iniciar o ano letivo de 2009 em greve, se até lá nada for definido sobre a implantação do Piso Salarial Nacional do Magistério. O presidente da CNTE (Confederação Nacional dos Trabalhadores em Educação), Roberto Leão, disse que “há uma grande possibilidade de ser deflagrada uma greve nacional no retorno das aulas no ano que vem” e que o assunto vai ser discutido na próxima reunião do CNE - Conselho Nacional de Entidades filiadas à Confederação.
Roberto Leão prestou as declarações ao participar nesta quarta-feira (03), em Brasília, da 5ª Marcha da Classe Trabalhadora da CUT que reuniu na Esplanada dos Ministérios mais de 1.500 profissionais de educação de todo o país. A categoria, que marchou em defesa do Piso, levou para a manifestação faixas e alegorias dos governadores que questionam a constitucionalidade do Piso no STF (Supremo Tribunal Federal), considerados “inimigos da educação”.
Segundo Leão, os educadores estão mobilizados e a expectativa agora é quanto ao julgamento da ADI 4167 sobre o Piso. Enquanto isso não acontece, representantes da CNTE e da Frente Parlamentar em Defesa do Piso realizam peregrinação no STF para apresentar os argumentos sobre a constitucionalidade da Lei 11.738/08, que institui o piso salarial de R$ 950 para os professores, a partir de janeiro de 2009. Procuradoria geral da República e a Advocacia Geral da União também encaminharam pareceres ao relator a favor da matéria.
A ADI 4167 foi ajuizada pelos governadores do Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, Paraná, Mato Grosso do Sul e Ceará, com o apoio dos governadores de São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Tocantins, Roraima e do Distrito Federal.
Também nesta quarta-feira (03) os dirigentes das centrais que participaram da 5ª Marcha foram recebidos pelo ministro do Trabalho e Emprego, Carlos Lupi. O Presidente da CNTE, Roberto Leão, esteve presente ao encontro.
