Professores e estudantes protestam contra reformas do ensino na França
Milhares de pessoas participaram de uma manifestação nesta quinta-feira em Paris contra as reformas do ensino superior, da pesquisa e da educação aplicadas pelo governo --e rejeitadas por estudantes e professores, num movimento que já dura três semanas.
Entre 15.000 e 30.000 pesquisadores, professores e estudantes, segundo as fontes, desfilaram pelas ruas da capital francesa. Em cartazes e bandeiras, mostravam slogans como "Menos pesquisadores = Menos progresso".
O projeto de reforma do estatuto de professor-pesquisador, impulsionado pelo presidente francês, Nicolas Sarkozy, prevê que a gestão da carreira destes funcionários passe a depender da universidade.
Os manifestantes consideram que a reforma pode fazer com que percam seu estatuto a nível nacional, deixando-os à mercê da vontade dos reitores universitários, o que implicaria perda da independência e um aumento das horas de aula em detrimento da pesquisa.
