Professores sofrem de problemas vocais
Levantamento publicado pela Fundação Oswaldo Cruz revela que 59% dos professores da rede de ensino apresentam problemas de rouquidão
Uma pesquisa da Fundação Oswaldo Cruz (Fiocruz) revela dados alarmantes sobre a saúde da voz dos educadores brasileiros. O estudo, que abordou 750 professores da rede de ensino pública e com média de idade de 34 anos, detectou que 59% apresentavam sintomas de rouquidão. E o mais grave: 25,6% tiveram perda temporária de voz. O levantamento, realizado por pesquisadores da Universidade Estadual de Feira de Santana (UEFS) e da Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA), foi feito por meio de questionários que indagavam acerca das atividades de trabalho, carga horária semanal, demanda psicológica envolvida nas tarefas e situação da saúde vocal, incluindo queixas de disfonia e presença de sintomas de rouquidão.
Para a análise da saúde vocal, foram consideradas ainda as características do uso da voz, tipos de tratamentos buscados e informações acerca das atividades domésticas.Justificativa para a esmagadora maioria dos pedidos de afastamento e licença médica de professores, os problemas de saúde vocal foram notados pela Secretaria de Educação do Distrito Federal (SEDF), após anos de reivindicações por parte dos professores. Desde a primeira quinzena deste mês, 18 mil microfones estão disponíveis a qualquer centro educacional que solicite um aparelho nas Diretorias Regionais de Ensino. Com essa medida, a SEDF espera reduzir o número de licenças médicas e os gastos com despesas na substituição de pessoal. A compra, licitada entre empresas de Brasília, foi uma das medidas que a secretaria tomou em 2009 para melhorar as condições de trabalho dos funcionários da rede pública de ensino. Além dos microfones, lousas de pincel atômico e tablados estão disponíveis nas diretorias. Para o professor Arnaldo César Pinto, que leciona há cinco anos em escolas da rede pública de Planaltina, um dos grandes problemas é o abuso da voz em ocasiões impróprias.
