Professores planejam greve nacional para cobrar piso de R$ 950
Os professores planejam uma greve em todo país para reivindicar o cumprimento da lei que estabelece o piso nacional do magistério de R$ 950.
De acordo com o presidente da Confederação Nacional dos Trabalhadores em Educação (CNTE), Roberto Leão, a paralisação já está decidida, falta agora definir se ela ocorrerá em abril ou maio. Segundo a entidade, alguns estados e municípios não reajustaram os salários dos docentes em 1° de janeiro, como foi determinado pela legislação.
“Estamos trabalhando na perspectiva de que as nossas entidades façam mobilizações para que os municípios e estados cumpram a lei. É preciso criar uma mobilização nacional para que não caia no esquecimento uma lei que é de tamanha importância para a melhoria da educação brasileira”, afirmou Leão em entrevista à Agência Brasil.
Durante o mês de março, as entidades representativas da categoria vão se reunir nos estados para decidir o melhor período para realização da greve. A partir das discussões, no começo de abril, o Conselho Nacional da CNTE se reunirá para definir a paralisação.
A CNTE planeja ainda para o dia 2 de abril uma manifestação em frente ao Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF) para pedir celeridade no julgamento da ação, proposta por governadores de cinco estados, que questiona a constitucionalidade da lei. Em dezembro, o tribunal negou um pedido de liminar que solicitava a suspensão da entrada em vigor da lei, mas ainda não avaliou o mérito da questão.
A lei do piso tramitou por 13 meses no Congresso Nacional e foi sancionada em 16 de julho pelo presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. Ela determina que, a partir de 2010, nenhum professor da rede pública receba menos de R$ 950 por uma carga-horária de 40 horas semanais.
Até lá, os salários devem ser reajustados progressivamente. O primeiro reajuste deveria ter sido realizado em janeiro de 2009. Os estados argumentam que a lei fere o pacto federativo porque interfere na estrutura do serviço e da carreira pública nos estados e municípios. Além disso, eles alegam que, para muitos, a lei é inviável do ponto de vista orçamentário.
