SeSu/MEC promete regras mais rígidas para novos cursos de Direito
A secretária de Ensino Superior do Ministério da Educação (MEC), Maria Paula Dallari Bucci, disse ao presidente nacional da Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil (OAB), Cezar Britto, que divulgará em breve regras mais rígidas para a inauguração e funcionamento de novos cursos de Direito, com a possibilidade até mesmo fechar alguns deles, segundo a Ordem.
Além disso, a comissão de supervisão das faculdades já em funcionamento - da qual a OAB é integrante -está avaliando o que aconteceu aos 89 cursos de Direito em que o ensino foi considerado, pelo Exame Nacional de Desempenho dos Estudantes (Enad), como extremamente deficiente. A secretária do MEC salientou que os cursos que firmaram mas não cumpriram acordo de saneamento para melhoria da qualidade de ensino poderão ser simplesmente fechados.
- Se as instituições que assinaram o termo de compromisso para melhoria de qualidade do niensino não tiverem cumprido o compromisso, elas serão levadas a um processo disciplinar que, no limite, pode levar ao encerramento da oferta do curso -, afirma Maria Paula Dallari em entrevista, após se reunir com Cezar Britto e o presidente da Comissão de Ensino Jurídico do Conselho Federal da OAB, Adilson Gurgel.
Durante a reunião, a secretária de Ensino Superior do MEC discutiu ainda com a OAB uma forma de a entidade da advocacia abastecer o Ministério com os dados relativos aos resultados do Exame de Ordem, para subsidiar as políticas de ensino de Direito.
- O Exame de Ordem serve como referência ou indicador de qualidade, para os cursos que podem ter problemas de qualidade - observa Maria Paula Dallari.
Segundo a secretária, o MEC pode passar a utilizar esse indicador nas renovações de reconhecimento, de maneira que o curso que está funcionando e não tem resultados satisfatórios de seus alunos na OAB, vai passar a ser examinado com mais a tenção e mais de perto pelo Ministério da Educação.
