Professores planejam paralisação nacional para o dia 24 de abril
O presidente da CNTE (Confederação Nacional dos Trabalhadores em Educação), Roberto Leão, afirmou hoje (3/04), durante reunião com representantes de sindicatos da categoria de todo o país, que os professores devem paralisar as atividades no dia 24 de abril. A categoria cruza os braços por 24 horas para exigir o cumprimento da lei que institui o piso do magistério no valor de R$ 950.
"Nosso indicativo é para o dia 24 de abril. A data não deve ser alterada porque foi uma sugestão dos estados", afirmou Leão.
A lei foi sancionada pelo presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva em julho de 2008 e prevê que o piso nacional seja pago a todos os professores da rede pública para uma carga horária de 40 horas semanais, a partir de 2010.
O aplicação da Lei se dará de forma progressiva. O primeiro reajuste seria em janeiro de 2009, entretanto alguns estados não o fizeram por considerar a lei inviável do ponto de vista orçamentário.
Em outubro do ano passado, governadores de cinco estados entraram com uma Adin (Ação Direta de Inconstitucionalidade) no STF (Superemo Tribunal Federal) contra a lei. A Adin questionava a denominação "vencimento básico", em vez de "piso salarial". O vencimento básico não contemplaria as gratificações, que passariam a ser recebidas com as horas extras, o que ultrapassaria o orçamento dos estados.
O STF definiu, em dezembro, que o piso salarial entraria em vigor em janeiro e que o aumento do tempo de planejamento de aulas para um terço da carga horária de trabalho do professor, previsto em lei, ficaria suspenso até novo julgamento.
"Queremos que o Supremo julgue o mérito da ação o mais rápido possível. Os governos estaduais tiveram oportunidade de opinar durante a votação da lei no Congresso Nacional. É um absurdo que agora posicionem-se contra", destacou Roberto Leão.
