Para Ubes, MEC foi tímido nas mudanças para o vestibular
O MEC quer unificar os vestibulares das universidades federais. A idéia é criar um novo Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio (Enem) que funcionaria como forma de seleção para essas instituições. Na avaliação do presidente da União Brasileira dos Estudantes Secundaristas (Ubes), Ismael Cardoso, a mudança nos vestibulares das universidade federais, proposta pelo Ministério da Educação (MEC), ainda é tímida.
Ismael afirma que os estudantes não foram ouvidos durante o processo de construção do modelo unificado de vestibular que o ministério quer implementar.
“O novo modelo avança em algumas coisas, mas é característico de uma proposta construída só por docentes. O ministério não ouviu os estudantes. Eu pergunto como um estudante do Ceará , por exemplo, que alcança uma média para estudar em universidade do Paraná, vai se sustentar em um estado que não é a realidade dele, longe da família. É uma proposta que não democratiza a universidade pública”, critica Cardoso.
A Ubes defende que o histórico escolar do estudante seja utilizado como critério de seleção para ingresso em instituições de nível superior. Ismael acredita que seria prematuro aprovar um novo modelo ainda em 2009, como defende o ministro da Educação, Fernando Haddad.
“O ministro diz que tem discutido com a sociedade, mas só conversou com os docentes. Essa mudança vai afetar diretamente a realidade do aluno e ele precisa ser ouvido. Falta debate. A pressa não resolve esse problema”, defende.
