CNTE pedirá audiência no Supremo para agilizar julgamento do piso nacional de educação
A Confederação Nacional dos Trabalhadores em Educação (CNTE) encaminhará nesta segunda (6/04) pedido de audiência ao presidente do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), Gilmar Mendes, para acelerar a nova fase do julgamento do piso nacional da educação. A informação é do presidente da entidade, Roberto Leão.
“Queremos reforçar nossas argumentações sobre a importância do cumprimento do piso para a educação brasileira, pedindo que façam o julgamento, o quanto antes, de acordo com a lei aprovada”, destacou Leão.
Outro ponto reivindicado pela confederação é a publicação do acórdão da decisão do STF que, como não foi divulgado, gerou interpretações diferentes da lei entre os estados.
Na semana passada, houve diversas atividades de mobilização da categoria em Brasília. Na sexta-feira (3), representantes de sindicatos de todos os estados definiram a uma paralisação de 24 horas, no dia 24 de abril, para que o piso seja implementado em todos os estados do país. Na última quinta-feira (2/04), houve manifestação de professores em frente ao STF.
O Supremo julgou em dezembro, parcialmente, a ação direta de inconstitucionalidade (Adin), apresentada por governadores de alguns estados contra o piso. Ficou estabelecido que o piso salarial de R$ 950 seria introduzido a partir de janeiro, deste ano.
O julgamento foi suspenso e não houve decisão sobre a criação de um terço de hora atividade, prevista também na lei que estabelece o piso nacional. Este período seria exclusivo para os professores desenvolverem atividades externas como planejar aulas, corrigir provas, receber a comunidade e realizar cursos de aperfeiçoamento.
De acordo com Leão, a reação ao piso começou imediatamente após a sanção da Lei 11.738, pelo presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, em julho do ano passado. “Os estados de São Paulo, do Rio Grande do Sul e de Minas Gerais se articularam para fazer uma campanha nacional contra o piso”, afirmou.
