A campanha salarial deste ano termina com saldo positivo. Em todos os segmentos de ensino foi possível garantir aumento real na base salarial dos professores, ou seja, um ganho que estará incorporado para sempre nos salários, servindo de parâmetro para a próxima data-base da categoria, em março de 2011.

O fato torna-se ainda mais relevante diante das inúmeras dificuldades criadas pelas entidades patronais durante as rodadas de negociação, especialmente no ensino superior, cujo desfecho favorável aos professores só foi possível depois de muito empenho na negociação por parte do SINPRO-SP e demais sindicatos que compõem a FEPESP.

Além da questão econômica da campanha, os professores conseguiram renovar o conjunto de direitos que compõe as normas coletivas. A categoria pode não se dar conta, mas várias conquistas que já fazem parte de nossa vida profissional estariam ameaçadas.

Próximos passos

Ainda há muito trabalho pela frente. A discussão sobre a regulamentação do trabalho docente decorrente das ferramentas tecnológicas com as escolas de educação básica e os mantenedores do ensino superior é agora nosso grande desafio.

A campanha salarial de 2010 colocou a reivindicação dos professores em pauta na sociedade e fez com o que os patrões reconhecessem que a categoria tem hoje uma carga maior de trabalho. As negociações sobre como remunerar essas atividades devem seguir daqui para frente. O engajamento dos professores nesse processo é fundamental.
