Depois de um semestre de trabalho duro, a chegada das férias é muito celebrada pelos professores. Época para descansar, viajar, curtir o tempo livre com a família e com as atividades culturais. Mas pode também ser a oportunidade para o professor cuidar de sua voz.

Com a pausa na rotina de aulas, o período de descanso é naturalmente benéfico para a saúde vocal. E pode servir para que o professor aprenda como fazer uso correto desse que é o seu principal instrumento de trabalho, ao marcar uma avaliação com a fonoaudióloga do SINPRO-SP.

O Programa de Saúde Vocal do Sindicato oferece gratuitamente informações e orientações sobre como os professores podem cuidar da voz e saber evitar problemas. Trata-se de um serviço essencialmente preventivo, mas que também oferece tratamento aos que já apresentam algum tipo de comprometimento vocal, devido à parceria com o Centro de Estudos da Voz (CEV), entidade de referência no país.

Prevenção, sempre o melhor remédio

Na última edição do The Voice Foundation, congresso internacional sobre voz, realizado em junho, nos Estados Unidos, as discussões sobre a importância do trabalho preventivo nos cuidados com a voz ganharam força. “O programa do SINPRO-SP teve boa repercussão entre os participantes; muitos ficaram interessados em nosso serviço”, explica Fabiana Zambon, fonoaudióloga do Sindicato.

Durante o congresso o SINPRO-SP apresentou os resultados de sua pesquisa Alterações vocais em professores e na população em geral, um importante estudo epidemiológico com professores, realizado pelo Sindicato e o CEV.
