O Sinpro/RS já está divulgando o segundo levantamento sobre a quantidade de alunos por turma na rede privada de ensino do Rio Grande do Sul referente ao segundo semestre de 2010. A lista das escolas que excedem o limite proposto pelo Sindicato está disponível no site www.limitedealunosporturma.com.br.

No primeiro levantamento, realizado em maio, foram identificadas centenas de turmas com excesso de alunos, o que resultou em denúncia pública dessa prática. Várias instituições de ensino se comprometeram em ajustar turmas com excesso de alunos já neste ano, tendo como orientação a proposta de limitação de estudantes por turma apresentada pelo Sinpro/RS ao Sinepe/RS nas negociações coletivas de 2010.

Campanha

O Sindicato lançou em maio deste ano campanha pública pela limitação do número de alunos por turma. O objetivo é chamar a atenção da comunidade gaúcha para a realidade deste problema no Estado e de seus reflexos na qualidade da educação e na saúde dos professores. A iniciativa foi tomada após mais uma negativa da direção do Sinepe/RS em estabelecer, na Convenção Coletiva de Trabalho, a limitação do número de estudantes por turma. Em pesquisa realizada pelo Diesat, entre 2008/2009, o excesso de alunos por turma foi apontado como uma das causas do adoecimento dos professores do ensino privado gaúcho.

Diálogo

A partir do resultado do levantamento no primeiro semestre, o Sinpro/RS enviou correspondência a todas as escolas identificadas buscando um diálogo sobre o assunto. O Sindicato incluiu a reivindicação na Pauta Preliminar, enviada ao Sinepe/RS no último dia 17 de setembro, e está retomando os contatos com as direções das instituições buscando uma sensibilização para a superação do problema.
