Professores da Ulbra no RS entram em greve
Cansados de atrasos de salários que ocorrem desde junho, professores da Universidade Luterana do Brasil (Ulbra) decidiram entrar em greve desde ontem no campus central, em Canoas (RS), e a partir de amanhã em Torres, no litoral do Estado. Segundo o diretor do Sindicato dos Professores do Estado (Sinpro), Marcos Fuhr, os vencimentos de outubro não foram pagos e cerca de 80% dos 1,8 mil docentes do ensino superior da instituição no Rio Grande do Sul sequer receberam o mês de setembro.
O dirigente reconhece que a adesão à greve é parcial, mas disse que a paralisação foi a última saída encontrada pelos professores, que também esperam pelo pagamento de metade do 13º salário desde agosto, conforme estabelece a convenção coletiva. Estudantes fizeram manifestações ontem no campus central em apoio à greve.
Por meio de sua assessoria, a Ulbra informou que as aulas prosseguem normalmente e que colocará os salários em dia até amanhã. Com nove campi no Rio Grande do Sul e seis em Goiás, Tocantins, Pará, Rondônia e Amazonas, a instituição enfrenta ações de execução fiscal da União que podem chegar a R$ 2 bilhões. A Receita Federal entende que ela não atende os requisitos para ser considerada entidade beneficente e gozar de imunidade tributária, o que é contestado pela universidade, que tenta ainda renegociar quase R$ 300 milhões em dívidas bancárias e reverter um déficit mensal de R$ 10 milhões
