Foi com indignação e incertezas que os professores e funcionários do Uni-BH, reunidos na última assembleia da categoria, receberam a informação de que foi negociada a transferência do Centro Universitário para o grupo Ânima, o mesmo que controla a UNA em Belo Horizonte. Diante da novidade, a decisão foi de manter o indicativo de greve com uma nova assembleia no dia 11 de fevereiro, às 18h30, no auditório Ney Soares (Rua Diamantina, 463, bairro Lagoinha - BH).
Numa assembleia com mais indagações do que respostas, professores, funcionários e alguns alunos presentes tomaram conhecimento sobre a venda do Uni-BH como solução para o pagamento dos salários em atraso e a possível regularização do passivo trabalhista acumulado pela instituição. O Sinpro Minas, o Saae-MG e a Aduni receberam a informação sobre a venda pouco antes da assembleia, sem acesso a qualquer documento sobre a transação ou de garantia dos pagamentos.
Os representantes dos sindicatos e da Associação de professores deverão se reunir nesta terça-feira com representantes do Grupo Anima e da Fundac para saber em que condições o negócio foi feito e como ficará a situação dos professores e funcionários do Uni-BH. E na quarta-feira, a categoria volta a se reunir em assembleia para definir os rumos do movimento.
O presidente do Sinpro Minas, Gilson Reis, lamentou o fato de uma instituição de 45 anos ser vendida em apenas dois dias. "O que estamos vendo é mais um capítulo da mercantilização do ensino, onde alunos são comercializados como cabeças de gado e professores são desrepeitados", opinou. Segundo ele, mais do que se mobilizar para buscar a regularização dos pagamentos em atraso, os professores e funcionários precisam participar das próximas assembleias para discutir o futuro da universidade, lutando para garantir que os seus direitos e empregos sejam garantidos e que a qualidade do ensino seja mantida com ou sem novos patrões.
