O Sindicato dos Professores do Município do Rio de Janeiro e Região (Sinpro-Rio) lançou, nesta quarta, dia 18, a campanha Saúde do Professor. A campanha, divulgada em outdoors e no www.saudedoprofessor.com.br, tem como objetivo sensibilizar a sociedade
para a trágica realidade da categoria, com suas duplas jornadas; desnaturalizar a violência emocional e física que predomina nos ambientes escolares contemporâneos; e, acima de tudo, convocar os docentes à reflexão e luta por melhores condições de trabalho e saúde.
Atualmente, os professores convivem com um número excessivo de alunos em
sala de aula, competem com ruídos externos e internos, falta de disciplina, baixa remuneração, além da pressão do patrão, o que pode levá-lo ao estresse, exaustão emocional e, consequentemente, à síndrome de Burnout, amplamente discutida na campanha. Saúde do Professor levanta outras questões como assédio moral, agressão física, atendimento online, calendário escolar único e férias em janeiro, assuntos que terão assistência jurídica.
