O DIESAT e a FeteeSul apresentaram, no início de junho de 2009, os primeiros resultados da pesquisa Condições de Trabalho e Saúde dos Profissionais do Ensino Privado do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul.

Em coletiva de imprensa realizadas em Porto Alegre, Pelotas, Ijuí e Passo Fundo foram apresentados os dados da pesquisa referentes aos docentes. Nos próximos meses serão divulgados os resultados referentes aos técnicos e auxiliares de ensino.

Esta pesquisa foi encomendada no segundo semestre do ano de 2008 pela FeteeSul - Federação dos Trabalhadores em Estabelecimentos de Ensino do Rio Grande do Sul, sendo realizada pelo DIESAT - Departamento Intersindical de Estudos e Pesquisas de Saúde e dos Ambientes de Trabalho.

Os pesquisadores, psicólogos e especialistas em saúde coletiva responsáveis pelo trabalho, Wilson Cesar Ribeiro Campos e Alecxandra Mari Ito, percorreram 23 cidades em 9 regiões no estado ouvindo os profissionais no ensino privado, além de aplicarem um questionário em mais de 4.400 professores, técnicos e auxiliares de ensino.

Os resultados mostram um diagnóstico preocupante:

- 83% apresentam algum tipo de problema relacionado a questões emocionais ou mentais como estresse, ansiedade e depressão;
- 45% dos professores já apresentaram algum tipo de adoecimento físico e mental relacionado ao trabalho;
- 78% apresentam esgotamento físico e mental constantemente nos últimos seis meses;
- 71% apresentaram dores após um dia de trabalho e 85% já trabalhou com algum tipo de dor;
- 31% dos professores sentem-se assediados moralmente no trabalho por chefias imediatas ou chefias superiores.
