Unar é condenado por atrasar salário, férias e 13º salário
O Centro Universitário Araras foi condenado em primeira instância pela Justiça do Trabalho de Araras, a pagar multa, juros e correção monetária por ter atrasado os salários dos professores em 2006, 2007 e 2008, por descumprir o período de férias estabelecido na Convenção Coletiva de Trabalho e por atrasar o pagamento do 13º salário.
A ação de cumprimento foi movida pelo Sinpro Campinas neste ano, e tendo o Sindicato como substituto legal, inclui todos os professores que estavam na Instituição nos respectivos anos em que ocorreram as irregularidades.
De acordo com a sentença, o Unar deverá pagar multa diária pelo atraso no pagamento dos salários equivalente a 1/50, correção monetária pelo atraso dos salários e 13° salários e multa de 1% pelo descumprimento das normas coletivas, no que diz respeito ao atraso do pagamento das férias, pela não concessão de 30 dias de férias em 2005 e ainda, multa de 1% por iniciar as férias em dias proibidos pela Convenção Coletiva nos anos de 2005 e 2006 e pagamento em dobro pelos 10 dias trabalhados no período de férias em 2005.
Por determinação do juiz do Trabalho Substituto, Cicero Alanio Tenório de Melo, o Unar não poderá reter valores a título de recolhimento de imposto de renda e contribuições previdenciárias, já que os valores de indenização fixados pela Justiça não são de natureza salarial.
A Instituição ainda pode recorrer da sentença a outras instâncias da Justiça do Trabalho.
