Em assembleia realizada no dia 6 de março, em todo o estado, os professores da rede particular avaliaram a situação da campanha reivindicatória 2010 e decidiram ampliar a mobilização.

Em Belo Horizonte, uma nova assembleia foi marcada para o dia 20 de março, às 10 horas, quando a categoria decidirá sobre a realização de um dia de paralisação se não houver avanços nas negociações com o sindicato patronal.

A assembleia estava agendada para ocorrer no Sinpro Cerp, mas foi alterada para o auditório do sindicato (Rua Jaime Gomes, 198 – bairro Floresta – BH). 
O presidente do Sinpro Minas, Gilson Reis (foto), destacou que a campanha não pode ficar só na luta pela manutenção da Convenção Coletiva de Trabalho (CCT). Segundo ele, é preciso avançar, principalmente no que diz respeito à saúde dos professores. "São urgentes as  iniciativas no sentido de pressionar os donos de escolas a reverterem seus lucros para a valorização dos professores e a melhoria da qualidade da educação", afirma.

A diretora do Sinpro Minas Celina Arêas também falou sobre a conjuntura desta campanha, lembrando que a maioria das conquistas dos professores foram obtidas com greves. “Em 2009, tivemos paralisações em diversas escolas com importantes vitórias”, disse.
