Apesar das dificuldades, as negociações com os sindicatos patronais de educação básica (SIEEESP) e ensino superior (SEMESP) continuam.

Os SINPROs e a FEPESP continuam insistindo numa contraproposta razoável dos patrões. Para furar o bloqueio, estão construindo uma proposta por dois anos.

Existe concordância na renovação da maior parte das cláusulas sociais. Os principais problemas ainda estão no reajuste e no pagamento do trabalho tecnológico.

Houve um pequeno avanço nas negociações com o SEMESP. O sindicato patronal já reconheceu que pelo menos a inflação tem que ser garantida.

Por outro lado, o SEMESP trouxe um novo problema para a mesa de negociações: a bolsa de estudo para os dependentes dos professores. A proposta de transferir as bolsas para os SINPROs  foi recusada pelos sindicatos e pela FEPESP.
