UNE vai apresentar propostas aos candidatos a presidente

A União Nacional dos Estudantes vai consolidar uma plataforma de reivindicações para os candidatos a presidente da república nas eleições que ocorrem este ano. Segundo o presidente da UNE, Augusto Chagas, em abril haverá um Conselho Nacional de Entidades Gerais (Coneg) para decidir quais serão as propostas a serem apresentadas.

“Nós vamos ver quais dos candidatos se comprometem com as propostas dos estudantes. Existem alguns interesses de determinados grupos que vão em sentido contrário ao da maioria das pessoas”, afirmou Chagas.

Segundo ele, as propostas devem incluir questões de macroeconomia e de juros da dívida pública, investimentos sociais, monopólio da comunicação, financiamento da educação e expansão das universidades.

O presidente da UNE também disse que a instituição não irá apoiar um candidato oficialmente e que a decisão de se posicionar contra alguma candidatura vai depender da aceitação dessas propostas por parte dos candidatos.

Durante palestra para estudantes hoje (29), Chagas disse que “faz muita diferença quem irá ganhar as eleições” e que o papel dos movimentos sociais é cobrar as políticas públicas independente de quem seja o presidente.
